Diana and Tim
Diana is currently a hard-working Spanish teacher at Elk Grove High School. Tim is a dedicated Driver Education teacher and football and baseball coach at Downers Grove South High School. We have many common interests that include the following: dining and drinking with many friends and family, attending Chicago Bears and Cubs games or pretty much any sporting event, going to Dave Matthews Band and many other concerts, traveling all over, and spending time with each other doing pretty much anything.
How We Met
Diana and Tim met in March of 2005. Tim was teaching at Conant High School at the time and Diana was teaching at Elk Grove High School. One evening, Diana and Tim were both assigned to chaperone at a playoff basketball game between the two schools, and had no idea what the evening had in store for them. Having attended Conant High School as a teenager, Diana knew many of the current teachers from there. Tim had spotted Diana talking to some of the teachers after the game and his interest was peaked. After the game, a few teachers had planned to have a post-game celebration. Because the game went late, many teachers decided to cancel and head home, Tim included. While driving home, Tim received a phone call from one of the teachers that Diana was talking to, and he asked him if he wanted to still go out. Tim said he was tired and was heading home, but then asked who all had decided to go out. He said it was just him and a teacher from Elk Grove named Diana Molano, she was the one he was talking to after the game. Tim then quickly changed his mind and said that he would meet them in about five minutes. Diana and Tim talked that evening and realized they were both really interested in each other...and the rest is history!
